“If You Are Two, You Are Due” Toddler Community Birthday Party
APPLE VALLEY SUNRISE LIONS - Thanks to a CLF grant, The inaugural “If You Are Two, You Are Due” Toddler Community Birthday Party was an overwhelming success, bringing joy, connection, and life changing resources to families of preschoolers across the High Desert. What began as a simple idea — celebrating two year olds while empowering parents with early childhood health tools and screening their vision at the optimal age of two for their first screening — blossomed into a vibrant community event. A dedicated team of 25 Lions volunteers brought the event to life, creating a warm, welcoming, and well organized experience for every family who walked through the doors. Their service was matched by the incredible support of 25 community vendors and partner organizations, each offering resources that helped parents discover new programs, services, and opportunities for their toddlers.
