POMONA HOST LIONS CLUB support a local hospital

When the POMONA HOST LIONS CLUB learned that a local hospital was going to construct a new children’s wing the Club, with the help of CLF, agreed to provide small stuffed lions with t-shirts that display the hospital’s logo and the words, “Donated by Pomona Host Lions and California Lions Foundation.” A stuffed lion would be placed on each child’s bed to welcome the child, and the child would take the lion home at the end of the hospital stay. These stuffed lions provide emotional support during a stressful time, and they can be a source of comfort and normalcy, thereby adding to improved health outcomes. The Club was honored for all of the work at a special reception.
