Nuview Lions Club provides meals this holiday season
This year, thanks to your donations, the Nuview Lions Club with a grant from CLF provided 85 families with a Thanksgiving Dinner Basket and 80 households with a Christmas Food Basket. This is the most they have ever been able to give to their community!!
The Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets were complete with all fixings and a large turkey. Christmas Food Baskets were filled with soups, vegetables, crackers, pasta, and much more! We partnered with another non-profit organization in our town to provide their 52 Nuevo families, which had over 150 children, with food while they focused on gifts and clothes.
On top of all of this, they offered Senior's, Singles w/no kids, Couples w/no kids Christmas Food Baskets as well. These Christmas Food Baskets included hams.
