CLF “Back to School” Grant
Beginning August 1, 2024, through October 31, 2024, California Lions Clubs are encouraged to submit “Back to School” grant requests to the California Lions Foundation (CLF). The Back to School Grant monies are to be used to help our youth from preschool through high school ages for their school needs.
The CLF Back to School Grant includes the following general requirements which are further specified in the attached application:
Individual Club grants are a maximum of $500, not to exceed the total grant amounts of $2,000 in a single district.
Grant applications must include a full description of the project and details of the expected cost.
Grant applications must show how Lions are directly involved in hands-on execution of the project and management of the grant funds
Lions clubs who have not successfully completed the requirements of past CLF grants or currently have outstanding grants will not be eligible
Grant applications must include the District Governor, District CLF Board Member, and Club President review and signature approval.
